First I must commend all of you great site . Great content . There is allot of info here and linked from here . My stoke is so high right now that I have been looking at your site constantly.

I have one gripe and one suggestion.
The only issue I have is that I cant watch your videos in full screen mode . not even the ones that have the option in the player.

My suggestion is ... well its kinda a question. Is there a snow report like this one below for Fernie but for the golden area? If so could it be posted or linked here ? maybe are these type of reports put together only when there are active systems and potential snowfall in the area i dont know but I like the detail and descriptions.
Oh and how much of this do you think KHMR will see?

SYNOPSIS: The interaction of an upper trough pushing southeastward from the central coast and an abundant feed of moisture originating from a system off the coast of California should produce a heavy accumulation of snow tonight. The snow should continue but ease in intensity as a cold front stalls over the area on Sunday. More significant snow is expected again Sunday night as Pacific moisture over runs the leading edge of an Arctic airmass pushing south-southwestward toward the Rockies. Increasing wind and colder temperatures are also anticipated Sunday night with a tightening pressure gradient and cold air seepage associated with the Arctic airmass over Alberta.

FREEZING LEVEL: At or slightly above surface tonight and Sunday. Surface Sunday night onward.

FERNIE ALPINE RESORT FORECAST:
TONIGHT: Snow, heavy at times. Low near -5, trending slightly milder overnight.

SUNDAY: Occasional snow, lighter during the afternoon. High near -3.

SUNDAY NIGHT: Occasional snow, heavy at times. Moderate accumulation. Increasing wind.
Low near -9.

OUTLOOK:
MONDAY: Mainly cloudy with a few flurries. Windy. High near -9.

TUESDAY: Mainly cloudy, occasional snow during the afternoon. Windy at times. High near -10.

WEDNESDAY: A mix of sun & cloud, 30% chance of flurries. High near -8.

CONFIDENCE: Fair to good tonight, fair beyond. Reasonably solid agreement for “The Perfect Storm Fernie Style” tonight, a cold front with a sub-tropical feed of moisture aligning & stalling over southeastern B.C. The third component to further complicate the pattern is the approaching Arctic front. It appears likely to stall along or just west of the Continental Divide Sunday night through Tuesday. Its presence should enhance local accumulations of snow again Sunday evening, timing of this development is uncertain. Current guidance is trending the next feed of Pacific moisture just south of the International Border Tuesday afternoon-Tuesday night, local accumulation currently appear light.

Thanks a lot for the feedback Scott.

As far as the fullscreen videos this is definitely something that I'll be trying to implement in the next while. We have focused on trying to keep the video file size down so that they will stream better for folks with slower internet connections. In order to allow full screen viewing we'll need to implement a new video player. In the works.

The Fernie forecasts are produced custom for the resort by environment Canada ($$). Agreed that they are an awesome resource, I often check Fernie's and the one produced for Whistler Blackcomb. I'd love to get a more detailed forecast rolling, however being a website operated on a shoestring budget right now we can't do it all. Great suggestions....gives me focus knowing what people would like to see more or less of. Thanks.

No problem and thank you for all your helpful feedback. You can take that as my professional opinion because for work, I lead a Quality Assurance Dept for a software company.
All those videos are done really well. I do Video production post production and animations as well, on a freelance basis. I may be biased by the content tho Wink but seriously the information you are sharing here is invaluable.
